We need your help to get the supplies and equipment we have in our warehouse ready for our upcoming shipment to Bolivia 2 weeks from now. You are welcome to come to Mano a Mano (925 Pierce Butler Route, St. Paul, MN 55104) on any of the following days between 9:30am and noon:

  • This Week: Thursday, September 3rd; Friday, September 4th; Saturday, September 5th from 9:30am-noon
  • Next Week: Every day Tuesday, September 8th – Saturday, September 12th from 9:30am-noon

You can stop by for as long or as short as you can any of those days between 9.30am and noon – no need to RSVP. We will have different stations spread out inside and outside the warehouse to work on the different tasks needed and to have plenty of social distancing and ventilation. We do require masks inside at all times (mask breaks can be easily taken outside of the warehouse). Usually, our big need for volunteers is when we are shipping and loading containers, but we are keeping that process limited to maintain a safer environment. What we need this time is help getting the many unprocessed supplies we currently have ready for the upcoming shipment, which includes:

  • Sorting donated miscellaneous medical supplies into specific categories
  • Sorting and bagging medical linens
  • Pairing and wrapping crutches
  • Disassembling and packing equipment (such as physical therapy equipment)

If you have any questions please contact us. We hope to see you!

Distributing Supplies to People & Organizations in Need Throughout Bolivia

Mano a Mano has been in operation for 25+ years

We started in 1994 with the goal of saving surplus medical supplies from the landfill in Minnesota and shipping them to Bolivia, where we knew these supplies were desperately needed and could be used immediately. Mano a Mano continues to donate roughly 200,000 pounds of medical supplies and equipment to health care organizations throughout Bolivia annually. With the current pandemic, most of our distributions in 2020 have been to provide support for COVID-19 efforts. We currently have 91,556 pounds of medical supplies and equipment en route to Bolivia from Minnesota that was shipped in June, and this upcoming shipment will provide more supplies to help address the heavy demand.
