Mano a Mano continues to distribute medical supplies to health care organizations in Cochabamba and throughout Bolivia. Supplies are always in high demand, but are especially needed now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past few days, our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Bolivia has been busy organizing supplies sent from our counterpart Mano a Mano Internacional to give to organizations in the Cochabamba area, including Hospital Viedma, Tolata, and others. Staff receiving these supplies have been very grateful; we all know there is an extreme shortage of basic supplies and equipment everywhere, and any supplies are greatly appreciated to help protect and support healthcare workers.

While we were lucky to have our last shipment of 4 containers from Minnesota to Bolivia arrive in Cochabamba right before the lockdown went into effect in March 2020, we are unsure when we will be able to ship again. We are planning on shipping supplies as soon as we are able, and are currently distributing in-demand supplies that we do have to organizations and people in need in both the Twin Cities and Bolivia.

Since we are unable to ship to Bolivia right now, we have been distributing the limited supplies of PPE and cleaning materials we have to organizations in the Twin Cities; this box of n95 masks was donated to the Minneapolis VA last week.
