Earlier this week, Mano a Mano donated medical supplies to the Hospital Municipal Principe de Paz in Puerto Quijarro – a town on the border with Brazil in the department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We have been distributing supplies for COVID-19 support throughout Bolivia on a near-daily basis since March, and we have 4 containers with more than 90,000 pounds of supplies and equipment currently en route to Bolivia from our Minnesota warehouse.

Pikinho Mejia took live video of the donation on Facebook, which you can watch below. (Note: the video especially emphasizes the Velasquez family (Mano a Mano’s Founders); a relative lives in Puerto Quijarro and helped facilitate this donation, but this was a typical Mano a Mano donation, managed by our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Internacional in Cochabamba.)

Medical Supply Distributions in Bolivia & Minnesota: March-July 2020

Mano a Mano has made many flights to different parts of the department of Beni to distribute medical supplies over the past few months.
