Mano a Mano Teacher Trip, June 2016
Here are a few pictures from last month’s teacher trip to Bolivia (thanks Debbie for sharing!). This was Mano a Mano’s 4th year of hosting teacher trips to Bolivia. Minnesota teachers travel to Bolivia with Mano a Mano to participate in workshops with Bolivian teachers.
During the trip, teachers visit rural Bolivian schools, shadow and present workshops for their teachers, and have the opportunity to interact with them in informal as well as classroom settings.
Mano a Mano approaches these trips with a deep appreciation for the dedication of teachers in both countries, for the similarities and differences in our life experiences, and for the gifts that teachers from each country can bring to the other through shared experiences.
