Minnesota & Bolivia Teacher’s Workshop – June 2015
In June 2015, 11 Minnesota teachers traveled to Bolivia with Mano a Mano to participate in a 9-day teacher’s workshop with Bolivian teachers. During the trip, teachers visited rural Bolivian schools, shadowed and presented workshops for their teachers and had an opportunity to interact with them in informal as well as classroom settings.
Mano a Mano approached this trip with a deep appreciation for the dedication of teachers in both countries, for the similarities and differences in our life experiences, and for the gifts that teachers from each country can bring to the other. This photo slideshow was put together by one of the trip participants; this was the third year Mano a Mano has done this teacher’s workshop trip.
