Thanks MN Alliance With Youth, St. Kate’s, and Mano a Mano Volunteers!
We want to send a special thank-you to everyone that has volunteered with Mano a Mano in recent weeks. Mano a Mano depends on our wonderful volunteers in every aspect of our work, from Minnesota volunteers sorting and packing donated medical supplies in Minnesota to residents in Bolivia helping support the construction of infrastructure projects in their communities.
MN Alliance With Youth
The Alliance ignites the spark in young people in MN to become actively engaged, develop strong voices, and acquire the skills needed for success. (Thanks to Bette Benson, Alliance Americorps Vista Leader and Mano a Mano volunteer, for making the connection!)
St. Kate’s
Mano a Mano is happy and fortunate to partner with a variety of classes and volunteers at St. Kate’s, from taking part in Citizen Katie Day to hosting students as part of their courses.
Mano a Mano Volunteers
St. Kate’s and MN Alliance with Youth were the two largest volunteer groups in January – more than 20 people attended each of these events – but we also want to thank the hundreds of people that volunteer with Mano a Mano each month. From helping out with our surplus program, to helping sell Mano a Mano crafts and books, to office tasks and research, to many other projects, we sincerely appreciate your time & efforts. Thank you!

Help Ship 4 Containers From Minnesota to Bolivia February 9-11
And, for everyone that has helped pick up, sort, and pack supplies over the past 6 months – which has now completely filled our warehouse – we will be clearing out a large section of the warehouse and shipping nearly 100,000 pounds of supplies to Bolivia on February 9-11.
