Preparing Distributions of Supplies in Minnesota and Bolivia This Weekend
Mano a Mano is getting ready to distribute donated medical supplies and mobility equipment to people in need at both our St. Paul and Cochabamba warehouses this weekend.
Distributing Supplies in Bolivia
At our warehouse in Cochabamba, Mano a Mano staff and volunteers organize the donated supplies shipped from Minnesota for distribution throughout Bolivia. Some of the supplies are transported by staff around the country; some smaller supplies are picked up at our warehouse by individuals; and some supplies are distributed during large-scale distribution events like this upcoming weekend, where 29 organizations are coming to receive supplies.

Mano a Mano is also working with Twin Cities-area physical therapists to distribute mobility equipment to some of their clients that have difficulty acquiring needed items on February 1, 2020.
Reducing Waste in Minnesota, Improving Lives in Bolivia and Beyond
The vast majority of the donated supplies and equipment we send out (97%) goes to Bolivia – below are links to a few of the many distributions we made over the past year to people & organizations throughout the country from our Cochabamba warehouse. We shipped 203,747 pounds of supplies from Minnesota to Bolivia in 2019.
But we are happy to partner with other organizations when we have excess supplies, items that we cannot send to Bolivia, or items that are not the highest priority for our programs. Ultimately, we want to keep these supplies out of the landfill in Minnesota, and get them to people in need.
