About Guest Speaker Max Yusen

I’m a senior at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, majoring in Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management and minoring in Spanish. I’m currently writing my senior honors thesis on Indigenous Consultation and Lithium Development in Bolivia, which focuses on the intersection of indigenous rights, environmental protection, and sustainable development in a Spanish-speaking country.

About Mano a Mano’s Speaker Series

Ernie Whiteman, Cultural Director of Dream of Wild Health was one of our monthly guest speakers in late 2019 (RIP Ernie).

Mano a Mano started our monthly Speaker Series a few years ago as a way to engage with researchers and practitioners working with indigenous peoples on development and environmental issues. Our goal is to share and learn from each other and to support the indigenous peoples that we serve.
