Executive Director Nate Knatterud-Hubinger Talks About Long-Term Impact of MSID Ecuador Study Abroad Program
“Nate Knatterud-Hubinger is a University of Minnesota alumnus working as executive director at nonprofit Mano a Mano International. As a College of Liberal Arts undergraduate in the early 2000s, he studied abroad in Chile and also in Quito, Ecuador, on the MSID—International Development in Ecuador program. The Learning Abroad Center interviewed him about his experience.“

Weekend Health Clinic in San Ignacio de Moxos
A recent participant in a Mano a Mano weekend health clinic posted a video on Facebook sharing about his experience on a jornada in San Ignacio de Moxos: “Mano a Mano Aviation & Mano a Mano International – Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be able to be part of this noble effort and magical experience that allowed me to get to know more, of the work you do Hand to Hand in Bolivia. With excellent Doctors and Physicians.”
Hosting Paola and Israel in Minnesota
Mano a Mano hosted 15 US travelers in Bolivia to visit Mano a Mano projects last month; we are currently hosting 2 of our team from Bolivia in Minnesota. Yesterday we were able to participate in an observational tour at Regions Hospital, which was very exciting for Paola and Israel – both doctors in Bolivia that are involved in a variety of Mano a Mano’s projects and programs. (Many of our travelers to Bolivia last month have been able to return the favor and host our Bolivian visitors, and we are keeping our visitors very busy!)

Health Education Workshop with Mano a Mano Bolivia on June 13-15
Our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Bolivia is hosting a health education workshop June 13-15, 2024. Health education is an integral part of Mano a Mano’s approach to improving health for Bolivian communities.
