El Palmar Road Project – Almost a Year Ago

It’s been almost a year since Mano a Mano dedicated a 60-kilometer (37+ miles) road project in El Palmar, Bolivia. This was one of our most challenging projects in our history, and for us was a huge accomplishment to complete.

Thanks to everyone that collaborated with Mano a Mano to make this project happen, from our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Nuevo Mundo that oversaw the project design and construction, to the Municipality of Culpina, to the communities themselves!

Video Credit: William WroblewskiThis project continues to have a huge impact, with new projects being built along the road in recent months; we also distributed supplies to the Culpina Hospital and community residents when Mano a Mano staff was in the area for a site visit a few weeks ago.
