Distributing Supplies in Culpina, Bolivia

Mano a Mano distributed wheelchairs, crutches, and other supplies last Friday in Culpina, Bolivia. Most of the supplies went to the local hospital, and the wheelchairs and crutches went directly to children that needed them.

Staff from our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Nuevo Mundo was flying to Culpina for a meeting/site visit (we built a 37+ mile road in the area last year), and we brought supplies on the Mano a Mano plane to distribute as part of the trip. The mayor, local officials and community members, and representatives from the Culpina Hospital, were onsite at the Culpina airstrip to receive the supplies. Everyone was very happy and grateful!

These supplies were a part of our shipment of 75,000+ pounds of supplies from Minnesota last November, which just cleared Customs and arrived in Cochabamba last month.
