Mano a Mano recently dedicated a new water well in Chirusi, Bolivia. The local Rotary Club of Cochabamba Norte was present at the dedication of the Chirusi Rosario water well project, which was supported with funding from the Rotary Club of Duluth Harbortown and many partnering rotary clubs from Rotary District 5580.

Elevated Water Tank Under Construction

We are pleased that the community is happy and satisfied with the quality and volume of the water they have from the newly drilled well by the Mano a Mano team.  Mano a Mano has also contracted with a group of local workers to build a 6-story water tower and storage tank. The project is coming along very well. Once the tank is completed, pipes will be buried under ground to distribute well water to each of the 212 households in the community.

Every Mano a Mano Project is a Partnership

Every Mano a Mano project is a partnership: thank you to our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Nuevo Nuevo who oversees and manages Mano a Mano water projects; the local community; the municipal government of Punata; and the US funders that provided the seed money that made this project possible!

Thank you to the many Rotary Clubs in District 5580 that supported this water well project in Chirusi!
