Containers Shipped in June Arriving at Our Warehouse Today
Mano a Mano’s 4 containers – shipped from Minnesota in June 2016 – have arrived at our warehouse in Cochabamba, Bolivia!
Mano a Mano’s 4 containers shipped in June 2016 from Minnesota have arrived at our Cochabamba, Bolivia warehouse.
More than 85,000 pounds were packed and loaded by Minnesota volunteers in June, including:
- Over 1,900 boxes of medical & school supplies
- 150+ wheelchairs
- More than 1,600 walkers, canes, and pairs of crutches
- 41 gaylords (very large boxes that fit on pallets) of orthopedic supplies, hospital materials, and hospital equipment
- new engine for one of the Mano a Mano planes
These supplies will be organized by our staff and volunteers in Bolivia and then distributed to people & organizations throughout the country. We are distributing thousands of pounds of supplies this Saturday, October 22nd during a distribution event at our Cochabamba warehouse; this is our second large-scale distribution event of the month.
The supplies being distributed this month are supplies sent from a previous shipment of supplies in September 2015.
