Our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Internacional has 2 main program areas: distributing medical supplies and mobility equipment sent from Minnesota to people in need throughout Bolivia; and providing training, education, and learning programs. One of these training and education programs is agriculture education & training, which is provided through our Center for Ecological Agriculture (CEA) in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
The CEA is a fully functional farm that demonstrates what farmers can do to improve food security and nutrition in their own communities. One component on display at our farm is a biodigester, which Mano a Mano agronomist Juan Carlos Cardenas explains in this video:
