Today we received the final projects from students at William Mitchell College of Law, as part of a Fall Semester 2014 course for upper-level law students to do legal research on behalf of a nonprofit client – Mano a Mano. We have benefited from this course for a number of years now, and we are always impressed by the quality of their work!
At the beginning of the semester, Mano a Mano submits potential projects related to law for students to pick from, which they then research and submit memos giving their recommendations for improvements. A few of this year’s projects included – warehouse liability, updating travel and photo waivers, reviewing tax issues, and import laws, to name a few.
Thanks William Mitchell Students!
As a small nonprofit with limited staff and resources, this collaboration has been a huge benefit to Mano a Mano.
Thanks William Mitchell students!
