Thanks to Those Who Stopped By Mano a Mano – March 13, 2018

Yesterday we had 2 events at our St. Paul office.

Viterbo University

Thanks to the Viterbo University volunteers that came from Lacrosse, Wisconsin with Urban Immersion to sort donated medical supplies for distribution in Bolivia! Mano a Mano will be shipping 4 40-ft. containers with about 100,000 pounds of supplies April 5-7; all supplies are given to people and organizations in need throughout Bolivia.

Mike Dockry Presentation

Also, thanks to Mike Dockry, PhD for giving a talk last evening on “Working with American Indian tribes in the US.” This talk was the first in a monthly series  of talks and discussion on indigenous peoples and their environments. We at Mano a Mano want to engage with researchers and practitioners in the Twin Cities-area that are working with indigenous peoples on development and environmental issues. Our goal is to share and learn from each other and to support the indigenous peoples we serve. The next three events will take place on April 10, May 29, and June 12; each starts at 6:30pm.
