Today Mano a Mano wrapped up three weeks of volunteer events with Medtronic for their Annual Project 6 Month of Volunteerism, a global company effort to get engaged in their community.

Mano a Mano worked at three different Medtronic locations in the Twin Cities providing volunteer opportunities for over 360 Medtronic employees at the World Headquarters, Rice Creek, and Mounds View.

Over the course of the three weeks, together we packed 178 boxes of valuable hospital linens and 43 boxes of school supplies valued at over $40,000 worth of supplies! This is the second consecutive year we have worked with Medtronic during Project 6, and Medtronic regularly volunteers with Mano a Mano throughout the year as well. Thank you Medtronic volunteers!

These supplies will be shipped to Bolivia, where they will be distributed to Mano a Mano’s network of 145 community health clinics, other Mano a Mano projects, and also given to other organizations and individuals in need (free of charge).
