Dream of Wild Health

The mission of Dream of Wild Health is to restore health and well-being in the Native community by recovering knowledge of and access to healthy Indigenous foods, medicines and lifeways. Dream of Wild Health is one of the longest continually operating Native American organizations in the Twin Cities. DWH owns a 10-acre farm in Hugo, MN, providing educational programs that reconnect the urban Native American community with traditional Native plants and their culinary, medicinal and spiritual use.

Mano a Mano Speaker Series

Mano a Mano started our Speaker Series as a way to engage with researchers and practitioners working with indigenous peoples on development and environmental issues. Our goal is to share and learn from each other and to support the indigenous peoples that we serve.

Center for Ecological Agriculture

We are excited to hear from Dream of Wild Health; its programs have parallels with Mano a Mano’s Center for Ecological Agriculture – a fully functional farm in Cochabamba, Bolivia that provides tools & training to rural Bolivian farmers on ways to improve food security and nutrition in their communities.
