Nice Video About Open Road
Open Road Alliance partners with high achieving non-profit organization to turn unforeseen circumstances into positive impact. It “is a private philanthropic initiative that provides grant capital to non-profits for mid-implementation projects facing an unexpected roadblock or a sudden catalytic opportunity.” (Check out their website for more information.)
They just put together a nice video about what they do, which includes some footage from a recent project supporting Mano a Mano. Check out Open Road’s video below:
El Palmar Road Project – Support from Open Road
The Mano a Mano project mentioned in the Open Road video is a 37-mile road project in El Palmar, Bolivia. The road was a huge project, with many challenges, including heavy flooding that washed away a portion of the road we had already completed. Open Road’s support was a huge help in keeping this project on track. Check out 59 photos from the road dedication on Facebook here.

The road was completed in November 2014, and has had a big impact for the communities in the area – including new schools, bridges, housing, and electricity being built.
