In mid-April the community of Cursani (in the department of Cochabamba) held their 6th Market Day.

Building a Road Makes a Difference
Their first few Market Days were not as successful as they would have liked, largely because there were no good roads to get to the community. Last year Mano a Mano improved their main road, and community residents and officials have been very happy with the impact it has made.

They invited Mano a Mano staff to the recent Market Day, and everyone was very pleased by how crowded the event was.
