On April 12, 2014, Mano a Mano celebrated 20 years in operation at the DS Event Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
More than 320 Mano a Mano supporters attended, along with 5 staff from our counterpart organizations in Bolivia.
Mano a Mano Co-Founders’ 20th Anniversary Speech
As part of the event, Mano a Mano’s co-founders Joan and Segundo Velasquez talked about how Mano a Mano started and the growth we have experienced over the 20 years, moving from Joan and Segundo’s basement and backyard to now having our own office/warehouse space in St. Paul, in addition to our huge growth of our programs in Bolivia.
