Environmental Workshop in Omereque, Bolivia
Last week, staff and volunteers from our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Internacional traveled to Huertas, Omereque, Bolivia to provide an environmental workshop to residents.
Workshop Topics
The workshop focused on easy ways to care for the environment and basic sanitation issues. These workshops are a part of Mano a Mano’s Center for Ecological Agriculture (CEA), which provides low-cost, low-tech tools & training for rural Bolivian farmers to improve food security and nutrition for rural Bolivian farmers, using an ecologically sound approach.

Mano a Mano volunteer Lindsay Emi recently wrote an in-depth article looking at a recent workshop held at the CEA for 40 farmers from Capinota in late November 2016; you can read her article here.
