148th Health Education Workshop for Nurses
These photos are from our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Bolivia’s 148th Health Education Workshop in July 2019 for nurses. Continuing education is an integral part of our health program; Mano a Mano Bolivia provides education to: communities through providing training for volunteer health promoters; communities through weekend health clinics providing basic services; Mano a Mano’s clinic staff as continuing health education (pictured here); and medical professionals from other organizations. Learn more about these programs here.
Continuing Health Education Complements Mano a Mano’s Clinic Program
These programs are managed and administered by our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Bolivia, and serve a complementary role to the construction of community clinics throughout rural Bolivia. (In partnership with local communities, municipal governments, and the Bolivian Health Ministry, Mano a Mano has built 167 clinics to date.)
