Mano a Mano is hosting its annual volunteer picnic on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 1-4pm to celebrate YOU, our volunteers, as we enter into our 18th year in operation. As has been our tradition, the picnic will be held in the backyard of the Mano a Mano office – 774 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota Heights, MN 55118. These past 12 months have been exciting for us as we continue to expand; here are just a few of our recent projects:

Everything we do in the US and Bolivia relies on our awesome volunteers, and this picnic is our way of saying thanks for everything you do!

Mano a Mano is Moving!

Also, this picnic will be our last at the Mendota Heights location. Mano a Mano is in the process of purchasing a combined warehouse/office space that will be the new home of Mano a Mano US! We have been working out of co-founders Joan and Segundo Velasquez’ home for Mano a Mano’s office space for 18 years, and it is time to give them their space back and have our own office. Thank you Joan and Segundo for providing us the foundation, and we are now able to move forward!

Joan and Segundo's backyard was the Mano a Mano 'warehouse' in the early years. We have worked out of this house for 18 years.

RSVP

The picnic is open to anyone, whether you are a long-time Mano a Mano volunteer or new to Mano a Mano and want to learn more about us.

If you plan on coming, please RSVP to Dana ([email protected] or 651-457-3141). Food will be provided, but bringing an appetizer or dessert to share would be appreciated.
