In mid-January, we wrote about “Helping Distribute Desks From Minnesota Tool Library to St. Paul Kids Learning Remotely.” Unity Church recently shared an update about it in their February newsletter; the MN Tool Library desk project was also highlighted in a Star Tribune article.

Our Volunteer Warehouse Manager Ray Wiedmeyer wrote about helping distribute desks from MN Tool Library to St. Paul students in need a few days ago.

Unity Church Newsletter: News from the Obama School Ministry Team:

“When students started needing to study from home due to the COVID-19 virus, volunteers through the MN Tool Library embarked on a mission to provide 500+ desks for local K-6 students. Unity Church members Karen Abraham, Ray Wiedmeyer, Collin Rust, Dick Buggs, and Xiaoyu Sun got involved and, with the help of a van and trailer donated by Mano a Mano, transported and delivered more than 100 of the desks. Families were very appreciative when the desks were delivered to their doors. Thanks to these Unity Church volunteers and to Mano a Mano for lending their equipment!”

Mano a Mano & Unity Church

We are grateful to Unity Church and its members, and the many different ways we work together. Below are just a few examples of the projects we have done together:
