When the call came in about an increase in illness in a remote community (the San Ramoncito health mission), the Mano a Mano Aviation Support team headed out immediately. This community has no health center, so we transformed the local church into a clinic for the day.

In just one day, our team treated 132 patients:
✅ 97 medical consultations (including 11 ultrasounds with our new portable systems!)
✅ 35 dentistry patients
The Challenge: We saw many cases of fever and diarrhea across all ages. In these remote areas, the rainy season creates standing water that becomes the primary source for play and drinking, leading to widespread infection.
Looking Forward: While we continue to provide medicine—spending about 1,500 Bs on medical supplies and 700 Bs on dental supplies every two missions—we are dreaming bigger. These isolated communities need a long-term solution, like community-wide water filtration systems.
Together, we are making a difference, one flight at a time. 💙
