Today, Mano a Mano is flying back to the municipality of Baures to pick up and return volunteers from SAR Bolivia back to Cochabamba. SAR Bolivia volunteers spent the past 6 days in the jungle in the search for Jhonatan Acosta; sadly there has been no news since Jhonatan went missing 12 days ago.
Our counterpart Mano a Mano Aviation transported 8 volunteers from SAR-Bolivia Filial Cochabamba on February 1st on Mano a Mano’s Cessna Caravan to the municipality of Baures, department of Beni to help in the search for Jhonatan Acosta, who went missing on January 25th. This morning we are going to pick up the volunteers.
As we fly to Baures, we are also transporting food, medicines, tents, and other donations made in Cochabamba by people wanting to support those who are searching for Jhonatan.
We continue to hope for the best for Jhonatan and his family.
