One of the (many) challenges of Mano a Mano community projects in rural Bolivia is simply getting our heavy equipment to the site from our Cochabamba warehouse. It was a tight fit to get through this tunnel on our way to a deep water well project this week, and it’s not uncommon for our other heavy equipment to have to do some construction work on the available roads for everything to get through…but we make it work! (The community and local government also provide support, including heavy equipment support if available; every Mano a Mano project is a partnership.)
