Mano a Mano Case Study on Open Road Website

Mano a Mano is featured as a case study on the Open Road Alliance website for their support of our road project in Culpina, Bolivia. Because we work in extremely isolated rural areas, there are many difficulties and unexpected issues that come up during any project, but this road project has easily been one of the most challenging projects for us in our 20-year history, which included a flash flood that wiped out portions of the already-completed road.

We are so grateful to Open Road for helping ensure we could finish the project! This road – the first in the region – will connect 18,180 residents to three major city markets, reducing travel time for the most isolated communities from two days via horseback to two hours by truck.
