Give to the Max Day is November 17th

Visit to Our St. Paul Office From Bolivia in October

Ivo Velasquez, Program Director for Mano a Mano Nuevo Mundo, recently made a trip to our office in St. Paul, MN, the first visit from our Nuevo Mundo counterpart since COVID restrictions restricted travel. Although we have daily contact through various virtual formats, nothing replaces face-to-face discussions – and a first-hand view of our jam-packed warehouse.

First Day of Loading 3 Containers for Bolivia

The 1st of 3 containers arrived at our St. Paul warehouse on Monday! Yesterday, Mano a Mano volunteers started loading them with donated medical supplies, mobility equipment, and other in-demand items for distribution throughout Bolivia.

Training Workshop for 19 Physical Therapists in Cochabamba

Our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Internacional recently hosted a three-day professional development workshop for 19 physical therapists at our offices in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Mano a Mano workshops provide a blend of theory and practice that help professionals improve their skills and be able to apply them in their daily work. Thanks to Jack Goodman, a volunteer from the Princeton Novogratz Bridge Year Program, for writing about this workshop!
