Mano a Mano is Turning 25!
Join us on Sunday, September 15th for BBQ and wood-fired pizza as we celebrate everything we have been able to accomplish together. A lot has changed since Mano a Mano started out of our Co-Founders Joan & Segundo Velasquez’s home in Mendota Heights, Minnesota in 1994, and we look forward to marking this milestone with our friends that have made it possible to impact so many lives.

Then
At our Co-Founders’ home in Mendota Heights, volunteers sorted supplies in the basement, and loaded containers in the driveway (even in winter!). This is Dennis Anderson, a volunteer at the time 20 years ago who is now on the Mano a Mano Board.
Now
Volunteers loading supplies at our warehouse in St. Paul in May 2019. This is the first warehouse that has had heat and A/C.
