Improving the Road From San Luis to San Lorenzo

Our co-founder Segundo Velasquez is currently in Bolivia, and he recently visited San Lorenzo. He sent the following note yesterday about his visit:

Mano a Mano Nuevo Mundo personnel are fixing the road from San Luis to San Lorenzo. Workers are doing a wonderful and beautiful job. Locals tell me they are excited that the road is being improved; it will be much safer and it will take less time to get to town (San Lorenzo).

Due to heavy rains, much of this road was not usable. I think next year we will participate in building bridges in this area. Getting in and getting out of San Lorenzo will require the building of a few bridges.
