Our co-founder Segundo Velasquez just arrived in Bolivia this week and sent the following photo this morning.
A family in Bolivia who had gathered to remember a family member who had died 10 years earlier asked friends & family to bring food items for flood relief instead of flowers.
Segundo helped pick up these supplies today, which will be distributed by Mano a Mano to more isolated communities in Beni.
Air-Dropping Food & Supplies in Beni
More than 25,000 pounds of food & supplies have been distributed by Mano a Mano for flood relief so far.
Compassion makes the world a better place. The soul of giving is only as small as one’s heart. The hearts in Bolivia are wide and deep.
