Oxford Development Abroad (ODA) is a student group at the University of Oxford that partners with nonprofits around the world, spends the academic year raising funds for their trip and for a selected project with the organization, and then spends 6 weeks or more volunteering with the organization on the project they have contributed funding to. This year’s project was to assist Mano a Mano’s agronomists at our Center for Ecological Agriculture on a biosand water filter project that would then be implemented in the community of Jironkota, about a 2-hour drive from Cochabamba.

This was Mano a Mano’s 3rd year partnering with ODA; thanks for working with us again, and we look forward to doing more in the future! (And thanks to ODA volunteer Odette Chalaby for sharing these pics with us!)
