Mano a Mano recently completed our 130th clinic in Zona Sud, Uyuni, Bolivia in September 2012.
This was a difficult project to complete; it is a 12-hour drive for our Mano a Mano Bolivia staff from our Cochabamba office to the site, which is on the edges of the Salar de Uyuni (Uyuni Salt Flats). The clinic will serve a community of 3,900 and has 2 doctors, 3 nurses, and 1 dentist on staff.
