In 2007, our counterpart organization Mano a Mano Bolivia dedicated our 29th education project in Piusilla, Municipality of Morochata, Province of Ayopaya, Department of Cochabamba. The project was a collaboration between Mano a Mano International Partners, Mano a Mano Bolivia, Alcaldia del Municipio de Morochata, and the Community of Piusilla (click here to learn more about our partnership model). The project included:
- 6 classrooms
- 5 teacher housing units (each unit has housing for 2 teachers and their families, with a shared kitchen, shower, and bathroom in each unit for the 2 teachers and families)
- Community showers and bathrooms for students
- Equipment and supplies for the classrooms, teacher housing units, and bathrooms
- Piusilla School Project
