Having an aviation program allows Mano a Mano to transport supplies throughout Bolivia, like these recent donations in the departments of Beni and Oruro. In 2020, we transported 95,000 of cargo. Mano a Mano shipped 175,777 pounds of donated supplies and equipment from Minnesota to Bolivia last year; we have 3 containers with over 75,000 pounds currently en route.


Distribution in Baures – April 23, 2021

On Friday, April 23rd, Mano a Mano transported medical supplies and equipment to the municipality of Baures in the department of Beni.

Distribution for Hospital Barrio Mineros de Oruro – April 29, 2021

On April 29th, 2021, Mano a Mano transported medical supplies and equipment to Hospital Barrio Mineros de Oruro in the department of Oruro, Bolivia. This project was a collaboration with Rotary Club Oruro, who we have partnered with previously (as well as on the distribution for Hospital Oruro-Corea, shown in the video below).

After loading everything onto the plane at our hangar (in the picture above this one), we have to unload everything for inspection on the platform by airport officials before being approved for takeoff.

Mano a Mano also recently transported medical supplies and equipment from our Cochabamba warehouse to another hospital in the department of Oruro, Bolivia – Hospital Oruro-Corea.
