Mano a Mano was founded in 1994 to save surplus medical supplies–destined for a landfill in Minnesota– and ship them to Bolivia, where the most basic of supplies are in desperate need. In 17 years, we have collected and distributed more than 3 million pounds (over $14.4 million) of medical supplies. These supplies help equip our clinics in Bolivia and are a crucial part to ensuring that our clinics are sustainable and provide quality service.
