This website was designed and constructed by Joan Velasquez, Rick Cheney, Segundo Velasquez and Nate Knatterud with a lot of the design credit going to Joan and the more technical aspects done by Rick.
While designing the website, the most important consideration was that the website would be easy to update by anyone working in the Mano a Mano office and easy to update by someone not having specific web page editing experience or a technical background — that aspect of the design takes precedence over all other aspects.
The editor used for the website is Microsoft FrontPage because FrontPage is very similar to the default standard word processor, Microsoft Word, which most people are familiar with.
The website is designed to use the full width of the web browser and adjust to the browser size rather than being set to a fixed width with lots of wasted space on the sides of every web page. The website also contains html coding to determine the size of the viewers computer monitor and automatically adjust the text size if the computer monitor screen resolution is too small to display the website in normal text size.
Maintaining the website requires a lot of work and anyone willing to re-size images, edit videos, etc., is urged to volunteer for current work or future (continuing) updates.
